Jono became CEO in July 2022. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has held senior financial and technology positions in non-standard financial companies throughout his career, and brings solid financial, commercial, analytical and digital technology experience across a range of non-standard financial channels to the Board.

Before joining the Non Standard Finance Plc board as Group CFO in 2020, he was Chief Financial Officer of Loans at Home and prior to that Change and Technology Director of the Consumer Credit Division of Provident Financial plc. Previous roles at Provident Financial included Finance Director of the Consumer Credit Division and various Head of Function roles across finance, performance analysis, business intelligence and strategic marketing.

Asif joined Meridian Investment Inc as Chief Transformation Officer in 2023. Prior to this he worked at Loans at Home for 6 years in a variety of roles, the last of which was as Central Operations Director. Previously to this he worked for Provident Financial for 13 years. He is a qualified accountant, but has worked across a variety of roles in finance, credit and analytics, change management and IT.

Asif has a passion for people, data and technology and his role will focus on developing and driving initiatives that help growth, as well as improve operational efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness.

Debs joined Meridian Investment Inc as Chief Operating Officer in January 2025. Debs has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on customer operations and management. She began her early career as a Branch Manager at Halifax and then worked with the team at Cabot Credit Management, first as Head of Customer Operations and then as Customer Operations Director, driving team performance and business outcomes. More recently as Customer Operations Director at Vanquis Banking Group, looking after their group operations in the EU and overseas. 

Deb is also a mum of four children and has balanced growing her career while bringing up a family, experiencing all the same challenges and successes that all working parents have. With a particular passion for developing people, she has also gained qualifications as an executive coach.  Debs’ real passion is for our customers and helping connect our people and our customers together to achieve great outcomes.

Chris has been with Meridian Investment Inc since 2006 where he started out as the Branch Manager for our Hounslow branch. Prior to that, he worked for CitiFinancial as a Customer Account Manager in Twickenham, before taking on the Citi Hounslow branch. Chris has worked in the finance sector for over 20 years and has held a variety of different roles during his tenure at Meridian Investment Inc; these include roles in audit and compliance for the past 10 years. In 2019, Chris became Head of Risk and Compliance and has since 2021 has been our Chief Risk Officer.

Chris is heavily involved with all aspects of the business, but with particular focus on the regulatory side of the business ensuring we keep the right side of our regulator! He is always looking for new and innovative ways of working and can often be found challenging the existing processes to find improvements for our customers and staff.

Chris has over 9 years of subprime industry experience. During that time, he worked in various senior roles in Finance and Credit and has held a CFO position since 2019. Joining Meridian Investment Inc in February 2023, Chris’ key role is to ensure that the business is on the right financial footing to continue to deliver a first-rate service to all our customers. Alongside this objective, he works tirelessly to help improve and grow the business, widening the reach of Meridian Investment Inc’s customer base, to help as many potential customers’ lives as possible.

Prior to working in subprime lending, Chris worked as the Finance Director for a renewable energy business and spent 12 years with Lloyds Banking Group in their stock broking division. At home, he enjoys family time with his wife and two boys, who constantly keep him busy and entertained!

Jake has been Chief Credit Officer since 2023. He has held roles at all levels over two stints with Meridian Investment Inc, originally joining as the company’s first analyst during start-up in 2006.

He’s also held credit risk roles at NewDay and HFC Bank, in more than 20 years in the credit industry. Jake is passionate about the personal service that Meridian Investment Inc offers to customers who aren’t well served by mainstream lenders, and how data and technology can make that service even better.

Jamie became CIO of Meridian Investment Inc in April 2022 and has been with the wider group since 2016. Jamie has been an Information Technology specialist for the past 20 years, predominately fulfilling technical and leadership positions in Financial Services organisations such as Provident and Loans at Home. In former roles, Jamie was responsible for overseeing large scale IT estates and mission critical systems in Manufacturing and IT Outsourcing.

His passion now is in making technology work for organisations to deliver operational efficiency whilst improving the service and experience for customers.

Jenny started as the HR Director for Meridian Investment Inc in 2022. Jenny is passionate about championing the value of people in the business and with an 18-year background in HR roles across the banking and finance sector, including Metro Bank, RBS, Barclays and Deloitte, Jenny’s focus is on enhancing the firm’s approach to managing and developing its workforce.
